If we find ourselves in a situation where someone confides in us that they’re experiencing suicidal ideation or if we are noticing signs that make us concerned about someone’s well-being, we may feel unsure of how to provide the right kind of support. In this training, you will learn how to recognize suicide warning signs, develop skills and strategies to provide support to a person who is struggling, and gain information on how to access resources in a timely fashion. This training is designed specifically for non-counselors such as family members, partners, parents, peers, teachers, paraprofessionals, etc. You will:
