Build upon the foundational knowledge presented in the Introduction to Excel course and start down the road to creating advanced workbooks and worksheets that can help deepen your understanding of organizational intelligence. The ability to analyze massive amounts of data, extract actionable information from it, and present that information to decision makers is at the foundation of a successful organization that is able to compete at a high level.
You will learn to:
• Create and modify tables and charts
• Add pictures, shapes, WordArt and SmartArt, and format drawing objects

HVAC Technician
Prepare for a job in the rapidly growing HVAC (heating and air-conditioning systems) industry! Learn about related technologies and mathematics related to HVAC; basic electricity, heating, cooling, and air distribution systems; basic copper and plastic piping practices; soldering and brazing; and more. This program will prepare you to perform entry-level HVAC maintenance and repair tasks in residential and commercial environments. You will be prepared to pursue the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) 608 Core and 608 Small Appliances (Type 1) Certification, and are eligible for an optional externship after successful course completion.

Automotive Service Technician
Gain the entry level skills required to start a career in automotive repair and maintenance! Learn to work in a variety of settings overseeing and improving the performance of modern diesel engines and commercial vehicles, as well as sophisticated heavy equipment systems with electronic functions and advanced computer controls. Employed by major trucking companies, delivery enterprises, municipal transit systems, and other transportation organizations, diesel technicians serve their customers with job titles such as Automotive Service Technician, Diesel Technician, and Diesel Mechanic. The program is delivered through an intensive hands-on lab approach, allowing you to concentrate on practical skills education and execution. You will become proficient in preventative maintenance and inspections by performing procedures in electrical, transmission, rear end, and brakes. This course is designed to prepare you to pursue the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Auto Maintenance and Light Repair (G1) Certification. Students are eligible for an optional externship with a local employer after successful course completion.

A Phlebotomy Technician collects blood specimens from clients for the purpose of laboratory analysis. In this career training program, you will become familiar with all aspects related to blood collection and develop comprehensive skills to perform venipunctures completely and safely. Classroom and lab work includes terminology, anatomy and physiology, blood collection procedures, hands-on specimen practice, and training in skills and techniques to perform puncture methods.

Certified Nursing Assistant
Are you interested in the healthcare field? Do you like to help others? Become a Certified Nursing Assistant! Our Certified Nursing Assistant program prepares you for the NYS Certification Exam and puts you on the path to success in your new career. The program is comprised of a total of 125 hours of training (70 hours classroom, 20 hours of lab, and 35 hours of clinical) which exceeds the minimum training requirements stipulated by NYS.
You will learn:
• Infection control procedures
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Safety and emergency procedures
• Basic nursing skills
• Personal care skills
• Mental health and social service needs
• Care of cognitively impaired residents
• Basic restorative services
• Residents’ rights
NYS Certification: New York State Certification is required. You will sit for the NYS exam upon successful completion of the course.

Surgical Technologist/Sterile Processing Technician
This comprehensive 150-hour course will cover both the roles of Surgical Technologist and Sterile Processing Technician. Gain a comprehensive introduction to the operating room and the surgical technician’s role, including an introduction to human anatomy, surgical instruments and other operating room equipment, operation, and maintenance; introduction to patient preparation; as well as other key concepts. Sterile Processing Technicians perform and participate in decontamination, cleaning, assembling, packaging, scanning, sterilization, storage, and distribution of reusable surgical instrumentation and equipment. These Technicians play a critical role in preventing infection by sterilizing, cleaning, processing, assembling, storing, and distributing medical supplies. The central service department of a health care facility is the hub of all activity surrounding supplies and equipment needed for surgery and patient care.

Intro to Electrical Engineering
Build a well-rounded foundation in both technical and professional skills essential for careers in manufacturing, electrical engineering, and related fields. You will gain familiarity with key electrical engineering concepts including circuit components, basic microcontroller programming, and troubleshooting. Through a self-directed project supported by the instructor, you will begin developing and practicing leadership abilities such as time management, decision-making, and continuous improvement. We will emphasize communication through technical writing and presentations, while also reinforcing essential workplace behaviors like professionalism, teamwork, and reliability. You will practice safety protocols in a hands-on soldering workshop and explore career opportunities using tools like BLS.gov. Additional sessions introduce students to registered apprenticeship pathways and help them build job-seeking skills through resume writing, LinkedIn networking, and mock interview preparation.
